Bishkek is located in the central Chui valley at the foot of the Kyrgyz Krebet Mountain Range at an altitude of 760m above sea level.

Through city flow the Ala Archa and Alamedin rivers and the Big Chuiskiy Canal (Bolshoi Chuiskiy Canal – or BChKa)
